An HDMI Extender allows you to watch your favourite HDMI entertainment device or set top box in another room in Full HD 1080p. Perfect for getting Sky HD, Virgin or BT YouView in two rooms, without paying for a monthly multiroom, multiscreen or Sky Q package.

Here at TradeWorks we have two different types of HDMI Extenders; one that uses Coaxial Cable and one that uses Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 Network Cable.

The Blake UK HDMI 100m Extender sends 1080p High Definition resolution video and audio signals over coaxial cable. The system consists of a Transmitter and a receiver, the HDMI source (set-top box, BluRay player, or gaming console) connects to the Transmitter with an HDMI cable. The Receiver box connects to the HDTV display in the same way, up to 100m away. Then the Coaxial Cable links the Transmitter and Receiver. Power is applied to the Transmitter and Receiver with the included 5V DC power supplies.

How to Connect the HDMI 100m Extender over Coaxial cableHDMI Extender over Coaxial Cable already exists in the home
  1. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI output port of source device and HDMI input port of Transmitter unit.
  2. Connect one Coaxial cable between the Coax BNC output port of Transmitter unit and Coax BNC input port of Receiver unit.
  3. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI input port of HDTV display and HDMI output port of Receiver unit.
  4. Connect the included 5V DC power supplies to both Transmitter and Receiver units.
  5. Power on the output device firstly and the source device secondly.
How to Connect the HDMI 100m Extender over Coaxial cable that already exists in your home.
  1. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI output port of source device and HDMI input port of Transmitter unit.
  2. Connect one Coaxial Fly lead between the Coax BNC output port of Transmitter unit and the existing coaxial outlet plate.
  3. Connect the second existing coaxial outlet plate to BNC input port of Receiver unit using a second Coaxial Fly Lead.
  4. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI input port of HDTV display and HDMI output port of Receiver unit.
  5. Connect the included 5V DC power supplies to both Transmitter and Receiver units.
  6. Power on the output device firstly and the source device secondly.

The SAC Electronics HDMI 60m Extender sends 1080p High Definition resolution video and audio signals over Cat5e/6/7 Network Cable. The system consists of a Transmitter and a receiver, the HDMI source (set-top box, BluRay player, or gaming console) connects to the Transmitter with an HDMI cable. The Receiver box connects to the HDTV display in the same way, up to 100m away. Then the over Cat5e/6/7 Network Cable links the Transmitter and Receiver. How to Connect the HDMI 60m Extender over Cat5e/6/7 Network Cable
  1. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI output port of source device and HDMI input port of Transmitter unit.
  2. Connect one Cat5e/6/7 cable between the output port of Transmitter unit and input port of Receiver unit.
  3. Connect one HDMI cable between HDMI input port of HDTV display and HDMI output port of Receiver unit.
  4. Connect the IR Blaster Extension Cable to the IR signal output of the Transmitter unit and place the IR Blaster in front of the HDMI device.
  5. Connect the IR Receiver Extension Cable to the IR Signal input of the Receiver Unit and place the IR Receiver in front of the HDTV display.
  6. Connect the included 5V DC power supplies to both Transmitter and Receiver units.
  7. Power on the output device firstly and the source device secondly.
