Blake UK Advanced 4-Input MATV Amplifier

The proTLA41 is an updated version of the classic single-output MATV launch amplifier. With an output capability of 110 dBuV (58 ch. traditional analogue) of 104 dBuV (all-digital, 6/7 DTT muxes) from its push-pull output stage the amplifier is able to feed systems of up to 100 or more outlets via appropriate passive distribution networks.

Three separate antenna inputs of Band ll (FM), Band lll (DAB OR TV) and UHF allow for excellent out-of-band filtering of and unwanted signals from local base station and similar transmitters. A fourth input – AUX UHF - is provided to allow connection of local-generated signals such as CCTV. This auxiliary input has lower gain than the main UHF input to minimise noise degradation of the antenna signals. Each of the four inputs has its own gain control, allowing simple optimisation of the outgoing signal levels. A directionally-coupled monitor point is provided, allowing accurate setup – a feature probably unique in an amplifier of this class.

Where off-air signals are low, or the antenna downlead is long, line-power is available at the UHF input for the PROception proMHD11L or proMHD11M UHF preamplifier.

  • Three well-filtered antenna inputs covering the VHF and UHF bands, plus separate auxiliary UHF input for local channels, CCTV, etc.
  • Separate gain control on each input; 4 dB upward slope equalisation on UHF ANT input.
  • Line power for a proMHD11L or proMHD11M preamplifier available at UHF aerial input.
  • Accurate —30 dB directional monitor point.
  • Low mains power consumption for cool and economical running.
