Triax CAT 6 Cable Tester
Triax CAT 6 Cable Tester
The CAT 6 Cable Tester provides a simple method of checking the correct pin configuration of 10Base-T cable, 10Base-2 cable, RJ45/RJ11 modular cables, 258A, TIA-568A/568B and Token Ring cables.
Supplied with Master Unit and a separate Remote Receiving Unit. The LED indicators on the master and remote units can be used to determine the status of the cable under test. The Master Unit can be used on its own, eg, for testing short cables at one location, or with the Remote Unit for testing longer or pre-installed cables.
As the Remote Receiver is separate to the Master, it does not matter whether the cable under test is long, short, on a wall plate or patch panel. The tester can be used to check for cable continuity, open circuit, short circuit or cross connected cable.
