Today's modern satellite TV receivers often have twin tuners built into them so that you are able to record and watch TV channels at the same time. For satellite TV, each tuner needs to be directly connected to the satellite dish LNB or Multiswitch (bigger systems). Running one length of twin cable can be easier, quicker and neater than running two lengths of single cable. However the single cable is much thinner, so for longer cable runs it is always advisable to use good quality CT100 grade cable.
