The HB-1000S is the scaled down version of the HDR1000s, with only a single tuner and no internal hard drive. However don't let this stop you from recording as the HB-1000A features USB PVR recording, simply fit an external Hard Drive (HDD) and you can record as much live TV as you can handle. Humax Freesat FreeTime boxes now come with the capability to watch the BBC iPlayer, ITV Net Player, 4 OnDemand and 5OD direct from the EPG. Not only does the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) give you all the listings for the next 7 days, it also features all the TV listings from the previous 7 days! This enables you to see what you may have missed and watch it OnDemand via one of the inbuilt OnDemand players - direct from the TV guide!!
